Lucy's Card Challenge 2- Wings & Strings

Today's cards is a card that i made for Lucy's Card challenge 2 - Wings & Strings... I loved the challenge...

This challenge is special to me because i made this card for my sister who just got engaged.... :)

I made 'wings' to the heart and added a little 'string' at the bottom.....

Confession: Adding the wings to the heart was inspired by a mini stamp set that i have :)

Simple Card

I am posting a card after so long... that's bocz my cousin got engaged and the wedding is next month (that soon...!) so all the wedding preparations are on in full swing...... i might not get time for crafting but whenever and whatever i do, you'll know about it.....

White circles on green paper is with my white get pen and the greeting is hand written...

hey i missed my blog.. my hands were itching because its been quite a while i did something with paper... i was out of town for a wedding (which was full of FUN....!!) but now i am back... though I am a little busy preparing for my Grandmom's birthday I'll try and be n touch as much as possible... Thank u so much guys for being so warm in my very 1st month... :)

The BIG reason for my happiness is that I called for this paper cutter from London from a friend ..... thanks buddy.... :) [ I have called for clear stamp sets as well i'lll upload the pictures in a while]

There are two blades that i got in the cutter.. One is a simple 'Straight' blade and the other is a 'Victorian' Blade which cuts and little zig zag!

I couldnt resist making a simple card to use the cutter.... its awesome.... :) love it....

Inspire Me Challenge # 4

hey all....

Today's 1st timers is a TAG that i made for the very 1st time ever for Dawn's Inspire Me Challenge # 4...

I tried the frills at the bottom of the tag for the 1st time ..... I made this in such a hurry as i have to pack my bags for a wedding ( i didnt want to miss this challenge) so i tried whatever i could in very less time
I used Dawn's template to make the tag. 1st stick the saturn ribbon with some frills by using sticky strip and then stitched it. then stamped the images ('Purse' and 'for you note with the shoe'). i used the mosaic technique for the butterfly with glitter...

Hair Clips

hey everyone....

i don't have a card to show today but i something very different..... i usuallly use a lot of hair clips.... While i was crafting one day i thought of putting some emblishments on my hair clips and personalise them... i love buttons... so i went ahead with it and the result is here for u to see... :)

i adhered the buttons with the help of tiny glue dots (tiny because they should not stick to your hair) Each time i wear them people ask me where i got them from so i thought i'll just put it on my blog...

You can personalise a lot of ur own stuff... go ahead...

Clear Card

Hey everyone my blog will be a month old baby this wednesday....Hurray!! i m so excited so i thought of putting up a new entry each day till Wednesday. I'll be posting all of my 1st timers on the Blog.

For today i have my Very FIRST clear card... I got really fascinated by the clear cards that I saw on-line.... so i thought i should make one of my own.....

i got the transparent Sheet from a local store (its A4 Size) Scored at half. I used the chocolate brown colour paper inside the card which is almost 1/2 inch bigger than the green colour paper that i have used. i adhered the paper on transparent sheet with glue dots ( sticky strip works equally well...) i made these polka dots of green colour by using the round shape pigment ink from hobby ideas. emblisshed it simply with flower and butterfly and some stitching with white gel pen to finish my card...

I tried to make the card as simple as possible... so i like the ultimate loook of it...

Some more GLITTER!!

Hey...

Its been such a busy week... but i had time for crafting... :) its my grand mom's 75th birthday next month and we have thought of keeping a small party with some relatives coming over... As return gift my grand mom's going to give away some envelopes... she asked me to design some... i couldn't resist putting some of my favourites on my blog.

So here they are

Pattern of each envelope that i made is different but the things used in making these envelopes are same i.e flowers, glitter, mirror, kundan and some stitching with the white or black gel pen.

I got the Envelopes from a Local Store and just started designing each one of them.... I didn't buy any kundan or mirror. i had them all with me waiting to be used or scrapped... i generally take out all the kundan etc from wedding cards ad reuse them.... so i went ahead and used all the stuff that i had...

It was a Glittery Week .... (including my craft room, my board, scissors everything.... and i enjoyed it)

GLITTER...

Here's a gift that my mother asked me to wrap & decorate. Since two three days i couldn't think of anything else except "GLITTER".... i am just so much in love with glitter that u can see it in my projects today....

the way the clothes are kept inside the transparent polythene is done by my Mum... she's just too good at it... the bow that she made in the green packing (above) is lovely, isn't it?



here's another gift that we decorated today.....
the flower used is 'Itsy Bitsy bloom flower' on which i have put the glitter with the help of glue stick..... for the centre of both the flowers i have used buttons..... wondering how i managed to get the glitter so well on it??.... i covered an appropriate size button with sitcky strip and then dipped it in glitter... :)

Card Pattern Sketch # 40

hie everyone....
This is a card that i created for the Card Pattern Sketch 40 .
I use a pattern paper (Brown colour with pink and blue circles) and i created the other pattern paper (pink with pink polka dots).... i went ahead and used glitter on the paper below added those buttons and stamped the flowers with white ink and added some bindi's to form the centre of flower...... i completed the card with the bow on the top right paper...

Some more Envelopes

hey hello everyone....

its been just a gr8 weekend that i didnt want should end.... i spend some quality time with family and then got down on creating some envelopes.... these envelopes i made for a wedding that i'll attending in few days (for which i am Super Duper excited !)

i had this envelope in mind since a very long time.... the inspiration behind this is 'internet'... and what i liked the most is the paper that is tired around the envelope on which the flower / button is adhered. i think this is wht made this envelope outstanding.

The pattern paper that i have used in pink envelope is a kind of gift wrapping paper which i thought is quite interesting with traditional yet modern kind of look.

Quilled Envelopes

hey everyone....

i have some quilling envelopes to show today.... i made these envelopes sometime back.... i was quilling for the 1st time and i made this.... i particularly liked the cute bunnies with a butterfly... i liked the flower bud and flowers... basically i loved the output.... Quilling, i think, is one technique which requires a lot of patience but one can be sure the output will turn out great....

The wedding season is on and we can make these simple quilling stuff and personalise our money holder cards....

Waterfall Card

hello everyone.....

Today i have a card to share which is globally (i think) called "waterfall card". This card looks awesome after its done. its too tedious to make lots of measuring up, lots of cutting, lots of pasting but the ultimate product is gud... everyone who saw it loved it..... Hope u like it too....

Another version of the card that u can make is put a 'little notes' or 'picture' or 'stamp different images' on each fall.

Lets go for a drive card

hey

i have an interesting card to show today.... i call it a" lets go for a drive card" and the reason being the cute little car which moves left and right.... This card can b given to a person who's bought a new car or a to friends to say 'remembering our fun drives to college' etc. Another interesting thing is, you can make a card of the same sort and instead of a car u can attach a pram for kids or new born, a bike for teenagers getting there new two wheeler.... just imagine an occassion and create ur card.....

i have added a few stitches on the circumference of the card to give it a lift.....

Diagonal Rays

Hello,

Today I have a card that is one of my favourite creation. i have created this by cutting the diagonal rays form different pattern paper and put them together. Then added this cute little bow (which I think one of the PERFECT BOWS i've ever made)...... added some stitches and my card is ready...

Simple Gift Tags

hie.....

welcome to the 1st post on my blog. i created this 3 inch x 3 inch gift tags where i used the mosaic concept. this is created with the scrap tits and bits of paper that accumulates after crafting. i have put them together to create this and added some glitter in between. finished it with simple stitching with my white gel pen....

there's anothere gift tag made by simply adding itsy bitsy flowers and a button on top and finished the card with some white stitches. its quite simple easy and QUICK..... so next time u have to gift something to some one... make ur own tags......
